About Yoga

Yoga means ‘to unite‘.
Body, mind and spirit united.

How does that work?

Through posture work yoga improves the bodies tone, strength and flexibility. Encouraging joint mobility, spinal fluidity and stimulating the internal organs, and digestion. Through breathing, yoga increases lung capacity, improves mental clarity and alertness and greatly improves your physical yoga workout.

Through meditation, yoga teaches you to focus the mind, think positivly, and clearly and gain in confidence and self-belief.

A yoga class integrates all this, often without you even realising it.
That’s why you feel so much better after pracitsing Yoga.

You learn about your body, its strengths and limitations, which side is looser than the other, how you move, your posture, how it feels as you work your body and how it feels afterwards.

You realize just how powerful and strong you really are. You learn how to use your lungs to their full capacity and feel energised from that.

Improving asthmatic conditions and general stamina and fitness.

You learn how to switch off from all the day-to-day worries and thoughts that race through your mind. Replacing them with positive thoughts and actions
